On November 20th, Tim will release The 4-Hour Chef. It’s choose-your-own-adventure guide to rapid learning. It’s a cookbook for people who don’t read cookbooks (which means: we’d read it). And, it’s poised to be the most banned book in US history. The 4-Hour Chef is one of the first titles underneath Amazon’s new publishing imprint; boycotted by U.S. booksellers, including Barnes & Noble.
Disruptive voices should be heard. And traditional publishing’s probably about ready for a shakeup. So we’re partnering with Tim and readers like you to promote The 4-Hour Chef through BitTorrent. On the day the book launches, our community will get access to exclusive content from Ferriss’ new book book, as well as unpublished material. We’ll also be asking users to support Tim and the Amazon imprint.

Amazon won’t let it be published electronically on other platforms. So business choose not to carry it. That’s not banning, dude.
this smacks of all the chain gas stations and chain restaurants making every single exit off every single freeway in the USA look like fucking clones squeezing out all the quaint mom and pop enterprises, restaurants, shops, fruit stands and what not we saw in the middle of the 20th century. Huge corporations like Amazon think they can take over everyone and there is no room for the entrepreneur any longer. Makes me sick. They’re boycotting? Watch me boycott them. All they are is money grubbing bullies taking lunch money from little kids trying to make it in life.
