New Music Bundle + Tour Dates from Counting Crows, only on BitTorrent

We’ve been obsessed with everything Counting Crows since August and Everything After. So we’re very excited to partner with the band on their latest media release: an exclusive BitTorrent Bundle of four tracks from their latest album, Underwater Sunshine (Or What We Did On Our Summer Vacation).

The BitTorrent Bundle includes:

  • Untitled (Love Song)
  • Like Teenage Gravity
  • Hospital
  • Meet on the Ledge
  • Plus amazing hi-resolution artwork and liner notes

Underwater Sunshine is a covers album, but not in the way you’d expect. It is a compilation of covers by music geeks for music geeks. It’s everything from Dawes to Dylan. And it’s personal. Consider it a guided tour of Counting Crows inspiration – their disc library and downloads, their interpretation. We consider it pretty cool.

Get some.
We’ve handpicked these four tracks just for you. Download the Counting Crows Bundle right here (or the torrent here). Like what you hear? Get the rest of the album over here.

Ask Adam Duritz anything.
We’re hosting a fan interview with Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz live tomorrow on Twitter at 1 p.m. PST (4 p.m. EST, UTC -8). If you have questions for the band, or compliments for Adam’s hair, learn how you can participate here.

Give Counting Crows some love.

I already bought the album (album? man I guess that means I’m old) but thanks for the support of bittorrent and the concept of P2P and social media. I have discovered so much great music through these outlets. Underwater Sunshine and Decemberists’ King is Dead have been on constant rotation in my household. My 4 year old can’t get enough of Mercy and Untitled (love song) and keeps asking us to “though your arms around my neck”. thanks for another great album that I can just listen to over and over again.

Disappointed and angry to be pushed to iTunes for an album. This makes the revolutionary call of the BitTorrent marketing campaign sound hollow and trite. FLAC, no iTunes please.

Thanks for thinking out of the box guys – it is time the entertainment industry adjusted to some new realities instead of trying to shut down every site on the internet! I hope this works really well for you.
